Privacy Policy
Introduction
SlyKiwi (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect when you use the SlyKiwi website and services (collectively, the “Service”), how we use and protect that data, and the rights you have in relation to your personal information. We aim to be transparent about our practices and to handle personal data in a privacy-conscious manner that complies with applicable laws such as the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and relevant U.S. laws including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
By using SlyKiwi, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with our practices, please do not use the Service. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, and we will post any changes on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically to stay informed about how we are protecting your information.
Information We Collect
We collect only the minimum amount of personal data necessary to provide and improve our Service. The data we collect falls into a few categories:
Information You Provide Directly: This includes any personal information you choose to submit to us. For example, if you create an account (optional) or sign up for our newsletter or beta access, we may collect information such as your name, email address, and any profile details you provide. If you contact us for support or with inquiries, we will collect the information you provide in that communication (such as your email and the content of your message). Currently, account creation on SlyKiwi is not required to use basic features, but you may voluntarily provide an email to receive updates or to participate in upcoming features.
Usage Data and Analytics: We automatically collect certain information about how you use SlyKiwi through cookies and similar tracking technologies when you visit our site. This website usage analytics data may include your IP address, browser type, device information, pages or features you access, time spent, and other diagnostic data about your usage patterns. We use this information to understand user engagement, improve our Service, and fix technical issues. This data is generally collected in aggregate form and does not directly identify you. (However, IP addresses or device IDs could be considered personal data under some laws, so we treat them as such when required.)
Cookies and Similar Technologies: SlyKiwi uses cookies (small text files stored on your device) and possibly local storage or similar technologies to enhance user experience and analyze usage. For example, cookies might remember your preferences (like interface settings) or track which pages you visit. We do not use cookies for advertising or to track you across other sites. You can control cookies through your browser settings – for instance, you may refuse all or some cookies – but note that disabling cookies might affect certain features of the Service (such as staying logged in or having your preferences remembered).
Fansly/Onlyfans Account Data (Optional Feature): As of now, SlyKiwi does not require or collect any data from your Fansly/Onlyfans account (we analyze public Fansly/Onlyfans content trends without needing your login). In future updates, if you choose to connect your Fansly/Onlyfans account or provide us API access for personalized analytics, we would then collect certain data from your Fansly/Onlyfans account with your permission. This could include metrics like your post engagement statistics, follower counts, or other content performance data that you explicitly allow us to access. This data will only be used to provide you with analytics and insights and will not be shared or used for any other purpose. If we implement this feature, we will update this Privacy Policy to detail what specific data is collected and how it is handled.
We do not collect any sensitive personal information such as government ID numbers, financial information (like credit card numbers), or biometric data. We also do not intentionally collect any special categories of personal data (such as information about your health, race, religion, or sexual orientation) through SlyKiwi. We ask that you do not send us or upload any sensitive personal information through our Service.
How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
To Provide and Maintain the Service: We process data to operate SlyKiwi’s core functionality. For example, your email (if provided) may be used to create or log into an account, or to send you necessary service-related communications (such as a welcome email or important account notices). Usage data allows us to render pages correctly and ensure the Service works on your device.
To Improve and Personalize the Service: We analyze usage patterns and feedback to improve SlyKiwi’s features and user experience. For instance, analytics help us understand which features are most popular or detect problems (e.g., if the site crashes on a certain page). If you opt into future personalized features, we may use data like your Fansly/Onlyfans account analytics (with your consent) to provide tailored insights, recommendations, or tag suggestions that are more relevant to you.
To Communicate with You: We may use your contact information to respond to your inquiries, provide customer support, and inform you of important updates or changes to the Service. If you join our mailing list or explicitly consent, we might also send occasional product updates, newsletters, or marketing communications about new features or offers. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in the email or contacting us directly.
For Compliance and Protection: We may process personal data as required to comply with applicable laws, regulations, or legal obligations (for example, responding to lawful requests by public authorities). We also process data as needed to enforce our Terms of Service, to detect and prevent fraud or security issues, and to protect the rights, property, or safety of SlyKiwi, our users, or the public. This could include using certain information to investigate potential violations or to address misuse of our Service.
We make sure to have a valid legal basis for processing personal data as required under GDPR and other laws
The legal bases we rely on include: your consent (for example, when you sign up for our newsletter or connect a Fansly/Onlyfans account, you are consenting to that use of your data), performance of a contract (if you create an account, we process your data to provide the service you requested), and legitimate interests (for example, we have a legitimate interest in understanding how our site is used so we can improve it, and in ensuring the security of our Service – we balance these interests against your privacy rights). Where we rely on consent, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time (for instance, you can unsubscribe from emails or disconnect a linked account).
Cookies and Analytics Details
As noted, we use cookies and similar technologies primarily for functionality and analytics. Here is more detail on how we approach these:
Analytics Tools: We may use third-party analytics services (such as Google Analytics or a similar platform) to collect and analyze usage information. These services may set their own cookies or use your IP address or device ID to log information about your use of SlyKiwi. We configure these tools to respect privacy: for example, we might anonymize IP addresses where feasible and disable any data sharing features. The analytics data we gather helps us compile reports and statistics on user interactions (e.g., how many users visited a page, how long they stayed, what features are used most) so that we can make informed decisions about improving the Service. We do not use analytics for advertising or allow analytics providers to use the data for their own purposes beyond providing services to us.
Cookie Choices: When you first visit SlyKiwi, you will be informed about our use of cookies (via a banner or notice) and, where required by law, we will obtain your consent for non-essential cookies. You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Most web browsers allow you to refuse new cookies, delete existing cookies, or alert you when new cookies are being set. Please note that if you delete or disable cookies, some features of SlyKiwi may not function properly – for example, you may need to re-enter preferences each time you visit, or certain analytics features might not work (which helps us troubleshoot issues). For more information about cookies and how to manage them, you can visit websites like AllAboutCookies.org.
Do Not Track: SlyKiwi does not currently respond to “Do Not Track” ( DNT) signals from web browsers. DNT is a feature offered by some browsers that, when enabled, sends a signal to websites to request that your browsing not be tracked. As there is not yet an industry-standard approach to DNT, we treat DNT signals like other browser signals about cookie preferences. However, we continue to monitor developments around DNT and may update our practices if standards emerge.
Sharing and Disclosure of Information
Your privacy is important to us, and we do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties for their own marketing or commercial purposes
We also do not share your data with third parties except in the limited circumstances described below:
Service Providers: We may share personal information with trusted third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf. For example, this can include cloud hosting providers (to host our website and databases), email delivery services (to send out newsletters or support emails), analytics providers (to help us analyze usage data), or payment processors (if we introduce paid subscriptions in the future). These service providers are given access only to the information necessary to perform their specific services, and they are contractually obligated to protect your information and use it only for the purposes of providing services to us. We ensure any service providers we use implement appropriate data security measures.
Legal Compliance and Protection: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a subpoena or court order). We may also disclose information if we believe in good faith that such action is necessary to comply with legal obligations; to protect and defend our rights or property; to prevent fraud, abuse, or illegal activity; to protect the personal safety of users or the public; or to enforce our Terms of Service or other agreements.
Business Transfers: If SlyKiwi is involved in a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, bankruptcy, or other business transaction, your information may be transferred to a successor or affiliate as part of that transaction. If such a transfer occurs, we will ensure that your personal data remains subject to confidentiality obligations and, if material changes to this Privacy Policy would result, we will notify you and give you an opportunity to opt out or delete your data before the transfer, if applicable.
With Your Consent: In cases other than those above, if we intend to share your information with third parties, we will obtain your consent (for instance, if in the future you opt in to share data with a partner company or to integrate with a third-party service, we would do so only with your knowledge and approval).
No Third-Party Marketing: Rest assured that we do not share your personal data with third-party advertisers or ad networks. You will not find us selling your email or usage data to other companies. If we ever offer co-branded or joint features in partnership with another organization, we will let you know and give you a choice in participating.
In summary, aside from service providers operating under our instructions and standard legal or business circumstances, your data stays with SlyKiwi.
Data Retention
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, and to comply with legal obligations.
Account Information: If you create an account on SlyKiwi, we will retain your account data (such as your email and any profile info) as long as your account is active. If you choose to delete your account or if it remains inactive for an extended period, we will remove or anonymize your personal information associated with that account within a reasonable time after account deletion or extended inactivity, unless we are required to retain it longer for legal reasons. We may retain encrypted backups of data for a short period after deletion as part of our standard backup procedures, but will purge those in accordance with our retention schedules.
Analytics Data: Usage analytics data is generally aggregated and anonymized, and we may retain aggregated data (which does not identify individual users) indefinitely to help us understand long-term usage trends. Raw analytics logs that may contain personal identifiers (like IP addresses) are typically rotated or deleted within a shorter timeframe (for example, within 14 months or as configured in our analytics tools). We use such data for troubleshooting and improving the site over time.
Communications: If you contact us via email or support channels, we may retain those communications and our responses for a period of time in order to manage our relationship and improve our support. These will be kept only as long as necessary (for instance, we might keep support emails for a year for reference, unless you request deletion earlier).
Legal Obligations: We may need to retain certain information for longer periods if required by law. For example, records of transactions or consents may be kept to comply with financial or data protection regulations. Also, if a legal claim arises, we might retain relevant information until the issue is resolved.
When we no longer have a legitimate need to keep your personal data, we will securely delete or anonymize it. We will also take steps to ensure that any third parties processing your data on our behalf do the same.
Data Security
We take reasonable and appropriate security measures to protect your personal information from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. These measures include technical, administrative, and physical safeguards. For example:
We use encryption (HTTPS/TLS) to protect data transmitted between your browser and our servers. Any personal data you provide (like your email) is transmitted securely.
Our databases are secured and accessible only by authorized personnel with legitimate needs. We implement access controls to limit who in our team can see personal information.
We regularly update and patch our software and infrastructure to address security vulnerabilities. We also monitor for potential threats and have procedures in place to respond to security incidents.
Where applicable, personal data may be encrypted at rest (stored in encrypted form) or segmented to reduce exposure.
We ensure our third-party service providers also commit to strong security practices.
However, please note that no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. You can help keep your data safe by using a strong, unique password for SlyKiwi (if account creation is used) and by keeping your own devices and software updated and secure. If you suspect any unauthorized access to your account or any security vulnerabilities, please contact us immediately so we can assist.
In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you and the appropriate authorities as required by law.
International Data Transfers
Our servers and service providers may be located in different countries. This means that your personal data may be transferred to and stored in a country other than your own, including countries that may not provide the same level of data protection as your home jurisdiction.
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or other regions with data transfer restrictions, we will ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your personal data when it is transferred internationally. These safeguards may include:
European Union Standard Contractual Clauses: We may rely on standard data protection clauses approved by the EU (and UK, if applicable) to ensure that your personal data receives an adequate level of protection when transferred outside the EEA/UK.
Privacy Shield Frameworks (if applicable): (Note: The EU-U.S. Privacy Shield has been invalidated, but a new Trans-Atlantic Data Privacy Framework is under consideration. We will comply with whatever frameworks or agreements are recognized by authorities for lawful transfers.)
Your Consent: In some cases, we may ask for your explicit consent to the transfer of your data to a country which may not have equivalent privacy laws – for example, if you sign up from the EEA and our servers are in the U.S., we might inform you and get your consent for that transfer when you provide personal data.
By using SlyKiwi and providing us with information, you consent to the transfer of your information to our facilities and to those third parties with whom we share it as described in this Policy, across international borders. We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
If you have questions about our international data practices, please contact us.
Your Rights and Choices
You have rights regarding your personal data and how we handle it. We strive to provide you with access and control over your information. Depending on your jurisdiction (for example, whether you are in the EU or in California), your rights may include the following:
General Rights (Applicable to Most Users)
Access and Portability: You have the right to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, and to obtain it in a commonly used, machine-readable format. This helps you to verify the information and even transfer it to another service if needed
Correction (Rectification): If any personal information we have about you is incorrect or incomplete, you have the right to request that we correct or update it
For example, if you change email address or notice a typo in the data we have, you can ask us to fix it.
Deletion (Erasure): You have the right to request that we delete your personal data, under certain conditions.
For instance, if you no longer want to use SlyKiwi, you can request deletion of your account and associated data. We will honor deletion requests unless an exception applies (such as if we are required to keep certain data for legal compliance or if the data is needed for resolving disputes).
Withdrawal of Consent: If we are processing your personal data based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time. For example, you can unsubscribe from our marketing emails ( withdrawing consent to receive them), or disconnect a linked account feature if it was based on consent.
Objection and Restriction: You may have the right to object to certain processing activities or request that we restrict processing. For example, if you dispute the accuracy of your data or have objected to our legitimate interest processing, you can request a temporary restriction on processing while the issue is resolved. You can also object to processing for direct marketing at any time ( though we currently do not engage in third-party marketing).
Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights. If you make a privacy request, we will still provide you with the same quality of service. For instance, if you choose to opt out of certain data uses or request deletion, we won’t deny you access to the Service or provide a poorer experience (except that some functionality that relies on your data may naturally be limited).
Rights Under GDPR (EEA/UK Users)
If you are in the European Union, United Kingdom, or a similar jurisdiction that provides comprehensive data rights under GDPR or equivalent laws, you have all the rights listed above and possibly additional nuances such as:
The right to object to processing that is based on our legitimate interests, and to processing for research/statistical purposes in some cases.
The right to data portability, which allows you to ask us to transfer data you provided to us to another company, where technically feasible
The right to ** lodge a complaint** with a Data Protection Authority (DPA) if you believe our processing of your personal information violates the law. We ask that you kindly attempt to resolve any issues with us first, but you have the right to contact your local DPA at any time.
Automated Decision-Making: SlyKiwi does not make decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you based solely on automated decision-making (like profiling). In the future, if we introduce significant automated decisions, you would have the right to not be subject to a decision based only on automated processing that produces legal effects (unless you give consent, it’s necessary for a contract, or it’s otherwise allowed by law).
We will assist you in exercising your rights. As required by GDPR, we will respond to valid requests within one month (and this can be extended by two further months for complex requests, but we will inform you if that extension is needed).
We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests (to ensure we don’t give your data to the wrong person or delete the wrong account). This might involve asking you to provide information that matches our records or other verification methods.
Rights Under CCPA (California Residents)
If you are a California resident, you have specific rights under the CCPA (as amended by CPRA), including:
Right to Know: You can request that we disclose what personal information we have collected about you, including the categories of personal information, the sources of that information, the business purpose for collection, and any categories of third parties with whom we shared the information.
You can also request a copy of the specific pieces of personal data we collected about you in the past 12 months.
Right to Delete: You can request that we delete personal information we have collected from you (and direct our service providers to do the same).
There are exceptions to this right – for example, if the information is needed to complete a transaction, detect security incidents, comply with a legal obligation, or other reasons allowed by CCPA, we may deny the deletion request for those specific data elements
But we will explain if any such exception applies.
Right to Opt-Out of Sale/Sharing: The CCPA gives you the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information. However, SlyKiwi does not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under CCPA.
We do not monetize your data by selling it to third parties. If that ever changes (which we do not anticipate), we would provide a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link. As it stands, you can consider that opt-out as already honored by our practices.
Right to Correct: You have the new right (under CPRA, effective 2023) to request correction of inaccurate personal information we hold about you. If you find any of your information is wrong, let us know and we will fix it.
Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Information: We do not collect sensitive personal information as defined under CCPA (like precise geolocation, social security numbers, etc.) in any meaningful way. If we did, you would have the right to limit our use/disclosure of such sensitive info to only what’s necessary to perform the services (and we would provide a mechanism for that)
Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate or retaliate against you for exercising any of the rights above. For example, we won’t deny you service or give you a different level of service just because you made a data request.
To exercise your California rights, you (or an authorized agent acting on your behalf) can contact us with your request. We will ask you to provide sufficient information to verify your identity (like at least two or three pieces of info we have on file, depending on the request’s sensitivity). For deletion or know requests, we will confirm receipt of your request within 10 business days and provide a substantive response within 45 calendar days (unless we need more time, in which case we’ll let you know and may take up to a total of 90 days). If you have an authorized agent submit a request on your behalf, we may require proof of authorization and verification of identity directly from you, as required by CCPA regulations.
Children’s Privacy
Our Service is not directed to children under 18 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. In accordance with the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), if we learn that we have inadvertently collected personal data from a child under 18 without verifiable parental consent, we will delete that information as quickly as possible.
If you are a parent or guardian and you believe that your child under 18 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately so that we can take appropriate action.
As noted in our Terms of Service, while SlyKiwi itself does not contain age-restricted content, it is intended for use by individuals 18 or older. We do not intentionally target or solicit personal data from anyone under 18.
Third-Party Links and Services
SlyKiwi may contain links to other websites or services that are not operated by us (for example, links in our blog to helpful resources, or the Fansly/Onlyfans website itself when you use tag suggestions). This Privacy Policy applies only to SlyKiwi and not to any third-party sites or services. If you click on a third-party link or use an external service, please be aware that you are leaving our Service and that any data you provide on those third-party sites is not governed by this Policy.
We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party site you visit. However, if you believe a third-party site linked from SlyKiwi is misusing your personal data in relation to a link or integration through our Service, please let us know and we will do our best to address the situation or remove problematic links.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update or revise this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, legal requirements, or other factors. When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this Policy. If changes are significant, we may also provide a more prominent notice or seek your consent as required by law (for example, by placing a notice on our homepage or emailing users who have provided an email address).
We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about how we are protecting your information. Your continued use of SlyKiwi after any changes to this Policy constitutes your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any updates or changes, you should stop using the Service and can request that we remove your personal data as outlined above.
