Every SlyKiwi tool scores tags three ways. Same data, different appetite for risk.
Conservative
Tags with months of stable results. Slowest growth, lowest chance of wasting a post. Start here if you post less than daily.
Balanced
Mostly proven tags with some current risers mixed in. The default for creators posting regularly.
Aggressive
Small and fast-growing tags before they get crowded. Bigger upside, more misses. Use on experimental posts.
A simple split that works: Conservative for your regular posts, Aggressive for one test post a week. Compare views after a month and shift the mix toward what wins.
Picking Tags
- Aim for 8 to 12 tags. Fansly officially recommends up to 10 per post.
- Start with 1 to 3 tags that literally describe what is in the post.
- Add 3 to 5 suggested tags with strong scores from your niche.
- Finish with 1 or 2 smaller niche tags where your post can rank near the top.
By content type:
- Solo: one body tag, one mood tag, one style tag, then suggestions.
- Couple: start from the couple tag itself, then add the activity and the vibe.
- Niche and fetish: lead with the exact fetish tag. Fans search these directly, so precision beats reach.
Matching Tags to Content
Tags are a promise about what the viewer will see. Break it and engagement drops.
Do
- Use tags a viewer would agree with after watching the post
- Keep one consistent niche tag across all posts so fans find your catalog
- Drop a tag that underperforms for two weeks
Avoid
- Big tags that have nothing to do with the post. Views without engagement hurt your ranking
- Contradicting tags in one post, like solo plus threesome
- Copying a top creator's tag list. Their audience is not yours
